Radiation is almost done
It looks like next Wednesday will be the last day of radiation treatment, barring a change of mind on the part of the radiation oncologist. That means only five more zaps, then I just have to finish chemo. They'll probably do either a CT scan or a colonoscopy after chemo so that the surgeon has an idea of how much the tumor has shrunk.

just checking in, Chris. Hearing "cancerspeak" again having lived it with Melissa is a refresher course I wasn't expecting. Yet, the strength you own, the love you have, the medical progress we've made....is awe-some. Hang tight, eat when you can, hug often, and keep kindled the spirit within you. We love you.
Auntie Sue
Chris, we met a long time ago at a birthday party for your grandfather, my great uncle Eric. Your dad Michael and my mom Beth were first cousins, making us second cousins, I guess! :) I only recently heard about your illness, and about Rachel's tragic death, and you and your whole family are in my prayers tonight. I admire your courage, and the gift of this blog to your family and friends to not only know how you are doing, but how you are feeling as well. God bless!
